Your Security Experts Are Here For You!
Whatever your situation and specifications, we’re here to help. There are many reasons why you’ve landed on us here today, perhaps you…
Have had a new intruder alarm installed and need regular inspections to keep your system healthy, prolong its life and optimise its efficiency?
Found your insurance provider requires you to submit an alarm servicing record?
Need regular servicing to be on-hand to ensure the connection between your alarm and the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) - if monitored for emergency and/or key holder response - remains intact, and that false alarms are investigated should they happen
Are you simply fed up with your current provider or wish to consolidate a multitude of your fire, security and electrical services under one provider?
I recently appointed WFP to maintain the site's security systems. I have been very impressed so far with the quality of service and the professional manner in which they operate. On the basis of what I have seen so far, I would recommend WFP to any potential customers looking for a service provider.

The 4 Stages of Your Intruder Alarm Maintenance:
We admit it, we’re safety nerds here at WFP. And we’re not ashamed to say it, since it’s the thing that means we’ll take your security super seriously. You’ve worked hard to build that business, so let’s protect it properly and make sure your alarm systems don’t let you down at the more crucial moment.
Check out the steps below to see what’s involved in keeping your fire alarm functional and healthy, so it is in the best state to keep your people safe and your premises legally compliant:
1
Brief & Survey: When you enquire, we’ll listen to your needs and requirements so we can gather the information we need to put together the best bespoke plan for you.
2
The Service: Your burglar alarm service usually happens once a year, however if you have monitoring (i.e. emergency and/or key holder response), we will attend twice a year.
3
Due Diligence: Following your visit, we’ll issue an engineer’s report for your records to demonstrate your system is healthy or to outline if there are any remedials needed.
4
Aftercare: Our maintenance packages come with free 24/7 telephone support as a standard. But don’t fret, we’ll head straight to you if we can’t fix something remotely.

Intruder Alarm Maintenance Explained:
Keeping on top of maintenance is just as important as getting an intruder alarm system fitted in the first place. If it stops working but you don’t know about it, the “stuff” really could just hit the fan.
The type of system you have will determine how often you need these check-ups. For instance, wireless systems require regular battery checks and changes to make sure you avoid leakage and damage to the whole device.
If you’ve got a complex system, your maintenance visits are likely to be a more “intensive”, shall we say, too. The more devices you have set up, and the more intricate your system (with monitoring set-ups and the like), the longer the visits will be.
During your visit, your WFP engineer will cover lots of different areas (see below), before getting a report outlining any recommendations, plus a shiny new certificate.
Investigating any false alarms since your last visit
Examining the entire system and all devices to identify any faults
Inspecting the robustness of cabling, batteries and power supplies
Evaluating any linked security systems, like CCTV or access control systems
Analysing the system’s compatibility with its specifications and industry standards
Testing remote signalling to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) if you have monitoring set up

If you have monitoring with your intruder alarm which notifies the Police in the event of an activation, and your alarm system triggers 3 false calls within a 12-month rolling period, your Police URN will be revoked. This can then affect your insurance premium and cover. The best way to stay on top of this and avoid false alarms is by having a trusted team on-hand to regularly inspect your system and investigate any issues as soon as they arise.
Looking for a Payment Plan? Just Ask!
With WFP, there’s no need to sacrifice safety and security if you’re facing budget limitations, or simply want an easier and more cost-effective way of managing your business’s finances.
You can lease your installation, allowing you to spread the upfront cost of that upgrade you hadn’t really planned for….
We even often pay monthly plans via Direct Debit for your ongoing maintenance and servicing subscription with us! You can also choose to freeze your cost, avoiding inflation, by signing up for a 3 or 5 year service contract.
Keeping your premises safe and legally compliant can seem like a chore, but with us it’s super simple and the crucial checkbox that you’ll never need to sacrifice…

Have You Considered Alarm Monitoring?
Fire alarms are only useful if someone is around to hear them…so if you’re installing a fire detection system, it’s also worth asking yourself if you need to consider fire alarm monitoring.
This is an emergency response whereby you/designated key holders and the Fire Brigade (you can have key holders without the Fire Brigade) will be notified if the alarm goes off.
This is super handy for overnight when no one is around and if your premises is left vacant for long periods, because if a fire happens then you’ll be able to act quickly to have it put out and save your valuables, because you’ll know about it!
Don't Fret About Invalidating Your Warranty...
If your current intruder/burglar alarm maintenance provider is letting you down but you’re worried that switching could invalidate a warranty following a recent installation, pass that burden our way.
At WFP, we offer secondary warranties on parts for intruder alarm systems that weren’t originally installed by us. That means you can enjoy a better provider, a better product if you need something new, and a replacement if anything every goes wrong. Don’t settle for poor service, switch to a provider that will take care of you!
PLUS, if you’re a maintenance customer and need a system upgrade or a new burglar alarm installed at a new site, we’ll not only design it for you free of charge (worth £1,800-£2,500 depending on the size of your site), but you’ll also enjoy a 3-year parts-and-labour inclusive warranty for your installation!

Save Time & Money with a Spares Pack!
Sometimes during a maintenance visit, your engineer will identify that a device might need changing due to damage, wear-and-tear or age.
By having a spares pack on-site which are bespoke to your system, should this happen, the device (such as a detector, sounder or manual call point) can be quickly switched out without the need to wait or fork out for another attendance and the replacement part. A pretty ingenious idea!
You're in Safe Hands!
