We booked 10 members of our team to do the Fire Warden Training Course. This course was for 1 day and carried out at our office, meaning that we did not have to all try and find out way to another location for the training.

The training was a good mix of theory and practical. Our training was delivered by John who was fantastically knowledgeable on the subject and we as a group found him engaging. We have all learnt a great deal on this course and have come away with the confidence to use a fire extinguisher should the need ever arise and the understanding of fire safety.

The cost of the course is very reasonable, considering we had 10 people on the course; it was, in fact, an absolute steal and invaluable when it could potentially save lives. I would highly recommend this course to anyone; even if you think you know a lot about fire safety already, it’s likely you will learn something you did not know before.

I work as a large block property manager in which WFP did the initial install of a fire alarm system to ensure current legislation compliance. Whilst I was not involved in this initial process, I have subsequently been dealing with a number of members of the team from Verity & Lisa, who are office based, Mark who works in new business, and one of the on-site technicians, Sam.

Throughout they have been excellent; information has been provided straight away without fuss or delay, and organising works has been stress-free.

Verity & Lisa have been great as a main contact in organising everything from the relevant information and staff attendance, and has massively helped out by moving her contractors around to allow me to have attendance on the day I urgently required at short notice.

I attended site to meet Mark and discuss additional areas we can work on and, once again, this was quickly arranged and was good to discuss what areas we needed, and how this could be completed by the same multi-skilled engineers to save money, time and ease.

And lastly, Sam, one of the engineers, was attending site for the initial service of the system. I met him on site to discuss the system and Sam was brilliant. He trained the site concierge on how to operate the system, what bits to look out for, and how to do the relevant testing to ensure confidence.

So far, the whole team has been brilliant and could not be faulted in any way. I look forward to working with them again in the future. Whilst my experience with them has been brief, so far I can safely say they have been the easiest and most pro-active in all of my dealings with fire/security contractors.

After discussions with a number of potential suppliers, we selected WFP to install a wireless interlinked fire alarm system in the communal areas of our block of flats.

Right from the first phone call, they were a pleasure to deal with. Paul and I spent about 45 minutes discussing our requirements in detail, along with the pros and cons of the different systems on offer.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, we agreed the details of the installation (panel placement, associated electrical works, etc.). Paul was very helpful and diligent throughout.

On the day of installation, George helped me to select the final location for the panel placement, taking into account both the regulatory requirements and the aesthetic impact on the hallway.

We agreed an option which we were both happy with, and the installation went ahead very smoothly. He left us with a very neat installation, and left the hallway clean and tidy.

I would highly recommend WFP to anyone who is considering having a fire alarm system installed. They are very knowledgeable and helpful, and the customer experience from beginning to end has been outstanding.

WFP has worked with me at Backhouse Solicitors since 2015 when we moved to Duke Street in Chelmsford and needed a new intruder alarm system. The old system was replaced with a much better one, and WFP also looked after our fire extinguisher and fire alarm maintenance for five years.

The team are always friendly and helpful, and we we received an excellent service during that time; so, when we moved to new, larger offices in 2020, we didn’t think twice about asking Paul and the team for help. We knew that WFP had opened an electrical division, which was great timing for us. Since buying our building, WFP have…wait for it:

– Tested and upgraded the building’s electrics

– Replaced the old lighting with new LED lights

– Upgraded all the heaters to modern, more efficient units

– Installed a complete Cat 6 data network

– Tested and commissioned the fire alarm system

– Arranged the fire safety report

– Replaced the fire extinguishers

– Installed a fantastic new intruder alarm that we can monitor remotely

– Last, but not least, installed an all-singing, all-dancing CCTV system

The project to replace the entire fire alarm and public address systems had many challenges, the way WFP planned the works and then implemented the program meant that the project ran very smoothly.

WFP came on site recently to upgrade our existing alarm system for our building after contact with our current maintainer confirmed they were closed due to the virus.

We had an old key entry intruder alarm system with no monitoring capabilities, which was still working well, however with the Covid lockdown in place and our staff working from home, we decided we needed the ability to have access to the intruder alarm remotely.

Rather than being called out during the lockdown period, we would be able to be notified of any alarm condition and re-set, set and disarm the alarm from an app.

Having designed a system to our specific requirements, the engineers turned up on time and with everything they required to do the job.

They worked extremely quickly and efficiently, observing the correct social distancing guidelines. Once they were finished, they explained how to arm and disable the intruder alarm, and ran a series of tests.

Everything worked as it should, explanations given were helpful and precise. We are very happy with the new installation and know we have made the right decision using WFP. We would highly recommend their services.
