Check out the steps below to see what’s involved in your EV Charging Point installation and all the ways you’ll benefit by choosing us for this mission to transport you to the electric future:

Consultation & Survey: We’ll listen to your requirements (and ascertain whether you have ample power requirements) so we can put together your bespoke and future-proofed proposal.

Grant Applications & Leasing: There are Government-led residential and commercial grants we can help you apply to. Plus, leasing/finance options are available (commercial only).

Ground Works & Electrical Upgrades: If you need the ground works carried out to ready your site for chargers, or an upgrade to your electrics, we’ll help you with all of this so you’re all set!

Installation: We’ll install your chargers safely and responsibly before issuing you with an NICEIC electrical certificate. We’ll also submit the notice of installation to your DNO (i.e. the grid) for you.

Parking Space Painting: When we say we can do the complete package, we really mean it! We can even arrange to get your parking space(s) painted to indicate it is an EV charging zone.

Aftercare & Maintenance: We’ll do a proper handover with you with training on how to use your charger and its software (if applicable). We’ll also create a bespoke support package to suit you!

EV Charging Point Installations Explained:
If you’re considering getting EV chargers installed, then you’ll want to start by figuring out the answers to the following questions:
Are my electrics sufficient or do I need to apply to the UK Power Network for an upgrade to my power (i.e. do I need more amps?)
Do I need any permissions (such as from the landlord or council) to install a charging point?
Do I care about how fast I want my vehicle to charge?
Will I want to charge for usage (i.e. does it need to connect to accounting software?)
Am I likely to need more chargers in the future than right now?
Am I eligible for any Government grants/incentives?
Would it help me to lease my installation to break down payments into management monthly costs? (Available on a commercial basis only)

If you opt for EV charging with software management, you’ll be able to track usage and earn the income back!
You can set a fee at your discretion for your charging point users; be it your employees, customers or visitors.
If you’ve got multiple premises, you can streamline this management with a single interface. View the charging session duration per user, the kWh used, the cost to you and the reimbursement to you – all in one place! You’ll be able to download live and historical data on all of this. Plus, you’ll have access to technical support.
You can even configure your charging points to auto-start without using a charge card app if you wanted to. Pretty clever, eh? And no need to fret as your software will be upgradeable so you’re always using the latest tech.

We'll EVEN Paint Your Parking Spaces...
Talk about a one-stop-shop! Our aim is to make your EV charging installation process as seamless as possible.
So, if you’d like to visibly designate areas within your car park for EV charging spaces then let us know, and we’ll incorporate all of this for you!
Your 3-Year Warranty Explained:
As we’re an OZEV-approved installer, you’ll get a 3-year warranty should you encounter any issues with your charging point installation (not that you should!).
Not applying through OZEV? You’ll still be covered by a manufacturer’s guarantee (how long this is depends on the make of the charger) and our ongoing support, of course!
To be eligible for the OZEV Grant, you:
Must have private, off-road parking that doesn't obstruct a public footpath
Must have an OZEV-eligible plug-in hybrid or electric car
Must have an OZEV-approved charger fitted by an OZEV-approved installer (that's us!)

Following the installation of your EV charging point(s), you’ll have a warranty period in place should there be any inherent problems with your charger.
In addition to this, you’ll want to ensure you’ve got the help on hand should you encounter any problems, plus an annual maintenance check to inspect the health and functionality of your system. You can choose from the below support packages when you install with us (of course, you can tailor your plan to suit your needs).
