You’ll be working within the commercial sector with a focus on Fixed Wire Testing and remedials, along with lighting upgrades, emergency lighting testing and general electrical work.

Your Role in Brief:

Full-time: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00

Permanent role, starting as soon as you can

We're in Stock, Essex, but you'll mostly be on the road!

Salary of £38k-£42k (Depending on Experience)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducting commercial electrical work including new installations, fault-finding, as well as inspection and testing, and associated remedial work

Provide sufficient information for review by your Electrical Manager/QS for certification and/or quoting remedials

Supporting with fire or security engineering needs, if required, and be willing to learn about these systems

Acting as a support to other engineers and team members, such as apprentices, when working together

Skills & Characteristics We're Looking For:

A desire to learn and develop, inspired by the opportunity to become a hybrid engineer across fire, security and electrical services

A reliable, honest and professional attitude, which is reflective of the WFP ethos and the reason why our customers trust us

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as building relationships and focusing on customer service is key

Someone who is open for a challenge, and has a welcome attitude towards both problem-solving and teamwork

Experience working within the commercial sector carrying out Fixed Wire Testing is essential

Working knowledge of the Electrical Regulations BS: EN 7671 (2022)

A desire to progress into a NICEIC qualifying supervisor position

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Must-Haves Include:

Strong experience in carrying out Fixed Wire Testing in a commercial environment

Full UK driving licence, and the confidence/willingness to be on the road

2391-52 or equivalent in inspection and testing

NVQ Level 3
